This direct burial rated outdoor CCTV Siamese cable is designed to be installed outdoors, underground, or in a conduit. It features the required cable jacket needed to withstand environmental conditions such rain, extreme sunlight, moisture, and snow. This cable is a parallel Siamese CCTV cable that includes an RG59 coaxial cable and an 18/2 power cable, which is the most common cables used when installing CCTV security cameras. The RG59 coaxial cable is used for the transmission of video signals, and is constructed with a 20 AWG center conductor, a 95% CCA braid, and includes a direct burial rated/UV rated PVC jacket. The 18/2 power cable is for transmitting power and is a bare copper stranded 18 gauge 2 conductor which also includes a direct burial rated/UV rated PVC jacket.

This Outdoor Direct Burial Rated RG59 Siamese CCTV Cable has a black jacket and comes as a 1000 spool. For CCTV camera applications you will need to terminate the RG59 cable with BNC connectors. The 18-2 power cable will connect to your security camera power source and the power lead coming off the security camera. Since this direct burial rated CCTV cable is a Siamese cable, it allows you to peel the two cables apart so you can easily connect the cables to your cameras, power supply, and security DVR.

Although outdoor rated Siamese CCTV camera cable is meant to be buried in the ground, it is best practice to always lay conduit in the ground first and then run the Siamese cable in the conduit. This allows for a much simpler and cleaner installation. This practice also ensures the cable is easily accessible for future repairs and maintenance. Using a conduit will also give the cable some added protection that may increase the life span of the cable.
