CB-30 - Comelit Slim Line Mini Passive UTP CCTV Video Balun, 2 Pack
The Comelit CB-30 is a mini CCTV video balun which allows transmission of standard composite video signals to be run over Cat5e or Cat 6 UTP network cable. The CB-30 has a slim form factor which makes it non-obtrusive for use with security DVRs and CCTV cameras.
The CB-30 is simple to install, compact, and supports color video signals delivered up to 1,200 feet. The purpose of the CB-30 is to allow an installer to deliver video signals between the DVR and security cameras over UTP cable in a CCTV camera application. By installing the CB-30 on each end of the Cat5e or Cat 6 cable, a BNC connection is now created so you can easily attach one end to a CCTV DVR and the other end to a CCTV camera. The CB-30 baluns come packaged in a pair, and are 100% passive, so no power is needed.
