The Arlington Industries SP100 Safety Plate is used to protect wires and cables from damage by nails or screws from dry wall application or blind drilling of holes through studs. If you drilled a hole in a stud to pass pipe or cables it is a very good idea to use the SP100 nail safety plates to prevent accidental damage in the years to come.
