The Platinum Tools 100020 is a fully shielded EZ-RJ45 modular connector designed for both Cat 6 and Cat5e shielded UTP cable. The Platinum Tools 100020 is a 100% fully shielded modular connector that is used to reduce pair-to-pair crosstalk, alien crosstalk, and provide improved immunity to noise at all frequencies. Since the 100020 shielded plug works with both Cat 6 and Cat5e cable it allows installers to stock one modular connector that does it all! The 100020 is part of the Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 system so it features the pass though design that allows you to easily line up the wire conductors in the connector and see they are correct prior to crimping. No other modular connector guarantees perfect terminations every time!

The Platinum Tools Cat5e / Cat 6 EZ-RJ45 Shielded Modular Connectors are designed to be crimped with the Platinum Tools 100054 EZ-RJPRO HD Crimp Tool.
