280714 - Vanco HDMI 1x4 Splitter over 2 UTP with IR & RS232 Control

The Vanco 280714 1x4 HDMI Splitter with IR and Cat5 Balun/Extender Output is the perfect solution for connecting one High Definition (HD) Audio/Video (A/V) sources to four different HDTVs or displays (zones) throughout your home or business. It is ideal for connecting the signal source such as Blu-Ray Player, Play Station 3, audio/video receiver, cable or satellite receivers and computers equipped with HDMI output interfaces with a short high-speed HDMI cable to the HDMI Splitter Selector Switch inputs. Connect the HDMI Splitter Selector Switch output RJ-45 ports using dual-runs of Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cables (sold separately) to the included receivers, which do not require a power supply. Connect the HDMI output from the receivers to high-definition display devices such as HD-LCD, HD-DLP and HD projectors with HDMI input interfaces. The 280714 allow for 1 HDMI source to be connected to 4 HDMI display devices over dual Cat5e/Cat 6 cables.

The Vanco 280714 1x4 HDMI Splitter extends 1080p resolutions up to 100ft over Cat5e cables, and up to 110ft over Cat6 cables. It supports full HD 1080p, supports 3D, 4K x 2K speeds, and is HDCP compliant. It is tested for compatibility with leading HD Video brands most Dolby 7.1 Home Theater Systems. The 280714 makes managing numerous HDMI capable components and devices easier than ever!

The Vanco 280714 1x4 HDMI Splitter has the capability of being controlled via IR signals. The switch can be controlled from the display. This is accomplished by using an optional IR Receiver pigtail pointing away from the display(s), which can be connected with the HDMI IR Adapter, and inserted between the HDMI cable connector and the display with the toggle switch at the 'IR' position. The IR Transmitter / Sender / Emitter pigtail is then connected to the switch and pointed at the source(s). A remote control is used at the display to select switch inputs and outputs. (This is only compatible with Vanco's Super HDMI IR Accessories)
